Title:  Sales Engineer

Reports to: VP of Sales and Operations


Global converting company specializing in value added material, process and distribution services aligned with the electrical apparatus, automotive, aerospace and industrial market is seeking a hunter to extend our reach in the US.  


Overall Responsibilities: 

•  Articulate the global reach and value of the Addev family of companies to the market

•  Compel customers and clients to engage with us on the basis of our expertise, innovation, quality and local response. 

•   Grow targeted accounts into mainstay customers and develop emerging clients

•   Deepen the customer foundation by prospecting, networking, referrals, leads and cold calls

•   Build sustainable, consultative, mutually beneficial relationships and trust through open and Interactive communication with assigned customer base, territory or market

•   Insure that operations and production functions are adequately apprised of the needs and expectations for all current and new projects



Key Areas of Responsibilities:

•  Identify and assess customers’ needs through research and building relationships; offer value added process and material enhancement solutions to help them meet their goals.

•  Network with suppliers to maintain and grow knowledge of changing products and markets

•  Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents through assigned contact management system

•  Develop and deliver presentations on company products and equipment to help our customers understand how we can help them

•  Maintain a backlog of projects, applications and opportunities.

•  Consistently follow up insure current business remains intact, immediate needs are met and longer term projects retain momentum

•  Achieve Yearly Budgeted Goals

•  Carry Out Sales Action Plan


Consults with (those who the person works with on a regular basis):

•  VP of Industry and Logistics for specific converting, scheduling, and procedure questions

•  Estimator

•  VP of Sales and Operations

•  Business Development Manager

•  Customer Service Team Members

•  Production and shipping staff in tandem with VP Production and Sales

•  Accounting


Term of employment: At Will; Full Time after 90 Day Probationary Period; Exempt Salary with Quarterly Bonus based on specific defined goals:

•  Revenue

•  Gross Margin

•  Yearly Action Plan


Qualifications (Necessary skills and experience required):

•  High School Diploma; College degree preferred, but not required

•  3 to 5 years of increasing customer interaction experience in a technical sales role requested

•  Valid Driver’s License and the ability to travel frequently both via car and plane.

•  Self-Disciplined and the ability to self-manage

•  Understands Algebra and science

•  Has the ability to Prioritize, Multitask, and deal with varying degrees of deadlines

•  Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Proficient

•  Able to communicate effectively on the Phone, Email, and in Person

•  Ability to Travel up to 50% of the Year
